Which website this covers
This statement applies to the web presence of SYNK GROUP GmbH & Co. KG at app.synk-group.com and synk-group.com, including all sub-pages in German and English.
State of accessibility
We built this website to meet the WCAG 2.1 success criteria at level AA. On our own testing it is largely accessible. “Largely” rather than “fully”, because some criteria cannot be checked by machine and we have not yet had the site assessed by a third party.
What we tested, and how:
- Colour contrast: 37 colour pairs of the palette checked by calculation against the level AA minimums; all passed.
- Structure and layout: every page in both languages checked for exactly one main heading, no skipped heading level, and no horizontal scrolling — at window widths from 320 to 1440 pixels.
- Operation without a mouse: a visible focus indicator on every control, a skip link to the content, and no drop-down menu that requires a keyboard to operate.
- Alternative text: every image carries a text alternative.
- Motion: anyone whose system asks for reduced motion is not shown this site’s animations.
Content that is not accessible
We are aware of the following limitations:
- The project reports provided as PDFs have not been checked for accessibility; they exist in the form in which they were produced. We will send you their content in an accessible form on request.
- The embedded podcast player comes from another provider, and we have no influence on how it can be operated. The episodes can also be reached directly on that provider’s platform.
- The podcast episodes have no transcript.
- In some places the English pages link to German-language documents. Where that is the case, the link says so.
- Testing with a screen reader on a real device is still outstanding. Our testing so far has been done by machine and does not replace that step.
About this statement
Written on 29 August 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment. It is reviewed whenever the website changes substantially, and at least once a year.
